CARPET GRAPHICS

1 Can you make custom decals / my logo?

We don’t design logos but we can take any logo and make it into a carpet graphic. You can actually do that right on our website at ZDecals.com. You click on shop from the menu, click carpet decals, and custom ordering is right there. We accept all file types, just not photos of logos. If there’s any issue you’ll be contacted.

 

2 Can you take my order over the phone?

I would love to take your order. Unfortunately, we can’t do phone orders for security reasons. However our website is encrypted with the highest security you can get. You can definitely trust any purchase made on our site.

 

3 Can you apply our carpet decals to a different surface other than bass boat carpet (vinyl flooring, boat cover, motor cover, trailer, etc)

We can’t say for certain if it will or will not work for that purpose since we have not tested it. However, our carpet graphic material has a very aggressive adhesive so it will stick to pretty much everything. However, never apply it to a hard, smooth surface because it will be permanent. Our graphics work best on textured, soft surfaces because it will hold as well as be removable. For example, it works great on vinyl seats, Yeti soft coolers, and gear bags. Let us know when you find a cool use!

 

4 What size should I get?

All of our customers order various sizes depending on their boat and where they want to put them. Though I’d like to be able to tell you what to get, we don’t know the dimensions of the compartments on all boats. To make sure your graphics fit perfectly, I highly recommend measuring the places you have in mind and then ordering.

 

5 Do you offer "X" brand, I don't see it on your site?

If you don’t see it on our website, get permission from that brand then use the custom logo page to upload the logo they give you to place your order.

 

6 How do you clean a dirty carpet graphic?

We recommend using dawn dish soap and water with a stiff-bristled brush. Gently scrub until clean. I would not use any chemicals. If you get chartreuse or dye on it and it won't remove using dawn, try Goo Gone. If that doesn't work you may have to reorder your damaged graphic and replace.

 

7 Removability?

Yes, they should remove easily by grabbing a corner and gently peeling back. We recommend letting the boat sit in the sun for a while before removal so the adhesive softens. There shouldn’t be any residue left behind but if there is, we recommend putting Goo Gone on a rag and agitating the adhesive. Afterward, rinse with soapy water.

 

8 How long do they last / Is there a warranty?

Our decals stand up to a great amount of abuse, however, there isn’t a warranty as these decals are short-term removable graphics. Some of our customers have had them for up to 3 years. We recommend replacing them when you notice excessive wear.

 

9 How fast do they ship?

Orders typically ship out within 2 business days from when the order is placed. Custom orders ship 2 business days after proof approval. The shipping speed will be dependent on the method chosen at checkout.

10 Can I return them?

You can return your unused graphics within 30 days of delivery. After that, it's yours. However, we cannot accept returns on custom orders unless there is a quality issue.

 

11 Do you offer discounts?

We do! Our bulk discounts start at 5 decals or more. You can find all the discounted pricing by clicking “Bulk Decals” under the Shop tab.

 

12 Can you show me a proof before I buy it?

You’ll receive a proof once your order is placed. Once you receive the proof you can let the design team know if you need to make any small changes.

 

13 What's the difference between a carpet graphic and a vinyl decal?

Carpet graphics are made with a special adhesive and non-skid coating, specifically to stick to carpet and be walked on. Vinyl decals will only stick to smooth hard surfaces and are not designed to be walked on.

 

14 Can I install carpet decals myself and how do I prep my carpet?

15 Does my logo have to have a background or can it be individual lettering?

All carpet decals have to have a background for longevity purposes. They are not offered as individual letters. You can change the background color of custom logos to any color you want though! Just include your request in the instructions section before adding to cart.

 

16 Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Wholesale is specifically offered to other graphics companies in our industry. Bulk discounts are offered to any and all companies. Contact sales@zdecals.com if you would like more information!

 

17 Can I add my logo to your store?

Absolutely! Please contact sales@zdecals.com for more information about being added to our online store.

 

18 Can I cancel or change my order once placed?

Yes if it hasn't been shipped yet. If it has been shipped, you will need to request a return. Please contact us ASAP if you need to change or cancel your order - 678.818.1150 or sales@zdecals.com

 

19 Can I change the dimensions of a logo?

No, we do not recommend changing the proportions of a logo because it will distort the logo. For example, if a logo is listed at 12" x 12" you cannot make it 12" x 6".

 

20 Will the carpet decal damage my carpet?

No, it will not damage your carpet but the carpet around the decal may fade faster than the carpet underneath the decal. The carpet decal is essentially protecting the carpet underneath it from sun exposure.

 

BOAT WRAPS

My boat isn’t a Supra or Moomba, can you still wrap my boat?
The boats you see are just used to display the artwork. Any boat make, model, or year can be wrapped.

Do you wrap power boats?
Yes we do, let us know what you’re looking for!

What modifications can be made to a stock design?
1. Use the factory logo, delete it, or change it, it’s up to you!

2. Change the colors to match any color combination you desire.

3. Remove design elements and add your own to our designs. If you add a design element such as logos, etc. you must get permission from that company to use the said logo and have them supply it in a vector or high resolution format.

4. You can pretty much change anything besides the overall design of the background.

What makes my design a “Custom” design?
Your design is considered a “custom” design only when we build a wrap for you from the ground up starting with a custom background.

How long does the entire process take?
Using a stock design speeds the process up greatly and can usually be ready for installation in about a week or less. Custom projects can take a little longer. The more changes that are asked for, the longer it will take.

Rush Services:: What if I need my wrap installed in a hurry?!
Rush is offered at an additional cost depending on how fast you need it.

How long will my wrap last? What is the warranty?
We only use quality 3M products with a 3 Year Limited Warranty against fading, cracking, and peeling. If you take care of it, it will last much longer. Sometimes up to 10 years on a boat!

Will it hurt my gelcoat? Is it removable?
No, it actually protects your gelcoat from minor scratches and scrapes. Yes, the wrap is will remove cleanly with little or no adhesive residue for the first 5 years. After the 5 year mark, the wrap will build a stronger bond and you may have a small amount of residue to clean up. The only caveat is if your boat already has surface damage or has been repainted before.

Will you be able to see my gelcoat color through the wrap?
No, the adhesive is opaque (meaning blocks all color from coming through).

How durable is it? What if I damage the wrap?
We tell everyone treat it like a custom paint job, baby it and be careful with it, don’t abuse it. If you are to run into the dock or do something to tear the wrap you can quickly lay the tear back down and seal it with 3M edge seal tape we can provide to you. If it is bad enough you can call to order a replacement patch, or even a complete side.

Do you have a template for my boat?
We have most templates for many boats. For boats that we don’t have, we’ll email you a measurement sheet. You’ll then send it back to us, so we can digitize the template to make sure your graphic kit fits perfectly.

Will it go over the rubrail?
Every boat presents different obstacles based on the hull design, etc. Most wraps are applied above the rubrail, of course it’s up to you if you do or do not want the wrap to be applied there. The wrap will not be applied on top of the rubrail as it’ll quickly be damaged when your boat rubs up against something.

How do I care for my wrap?
We recommend hand washing with normal vehicle washing soaps. Please use a sponge or soft brush. It’s NOT recommended to use a pressure washer to wash the wrap because it may lift the wrap with its incredibly high water pressure.

Will my sides match perfectly?
When your graphics are printed they will be perfectly mirrored. During install great care is taken to make sure both sides match as close as possible. If the graphic is within a few inches high, low, left, or right we consider that to be very acceptable.

Do you offer color matching?
Yes! If you’re wrap is color critical, you will be sent a color match kit to choose the exact shades of your colors you desire. This way you will see the colors as they will be on your installed wrap.

What if there’s a bubble or a wrinkle?
Small bubbles or wrinkles may appear in your final wrap. This is normal with ANY graphic installation of super large graphics. The best installers in the world will have an occasional bubble or wrinkle and this is normal. These bubbles or wrinkles are few and far between and will normally only be found in tight crevices and extreme compound curve areas and they should be extremely small in size.

Can I supply my own design?
Yes, contact us for exact specifications of what we need from you or your designer. We will then give you a quote based on coverage and setup time needed to get it ready for print, etc.

Can you wrap over existing graphics?
We highly recommend removing all existing graphics before our graphic installation if the vinyl is to cover any existing graphics. The wrap material is thin enough to still show evidence of the edges of the existing graphics underneath.

VEHICLE WRAPS

1 Do you offer discounts?

2 Can you wrap my vehicle if it has been ceramic coated?

No we cannot. The ceramic coating inhibits the graphics from adhering to the vehicle properly.

 

3 Do you offer color change wraps, golf cart wraps, clear protective film, hood stripes, personal RV wraps, roof wraps or motorcycle wraps?

No, we focus on commercial graphics only.

 

4 How long will my wrap last?

The longevity of a wrap is highly dependent on how well it’s taken care of and sun exposure. If your vehicle is wrapped with our premium gloss 3M laminate, typically the horizontal surfaces will last 2-3 years and the vertical areas will last 4-5 years. This is 1-2 years longer than your standard 3M gloss wrap.

 

5 How long does the process take?

Typically the whole process takes about 2-3 weeks. The timeline is largely dependent on how quickly the artwork can be finalized. Production takes 2-3 business days and the current installation schedule is also a factor.

 

6 How much is it to remove a wrap?

7 Do you offer design services?

Yes we have an in house design team that you will work with to create your wrap design. However, we do not offer logo design. We recommend 99designs.com for truly professional logos or fiverr.com for quick and cheap logos.

 

8. Do you offer other things like banners, yard signs, storefront graphics, etc?

9. Can you match my colors?

Yes! We can closely match your pantone colors, physical marketing materials, previous wraps, etc. We can even mail you a printed sample of the wrap to approve before production.

 

10. How do I get started?

2 My order stopped can you contact usps?

Yes, we sure can. First, check your tracking to see if it’s within the delivery time frame. (Free shipping can take up to 5-7 business days). If it's after the 7 business days, unfortunately, USPS sometimes has delays that are out of our control. After 2 weeks from your ship date if you still haven’t received your order please let us know and we can resend your order back out or you can request a refund at that time.

 

3 I need to update/change my address on my order

4 Where is my order? Can you check on it? How long until I receive it?

2 I emailed my feedback yesterday so just wondering when I’ll receive my new proofs?

We aim to post revisions within 1 business day from receiving feedback. Sometimes it will take up to 2 business days depending on the workload that day. Please contact us at sales@zdecals.com for additional information on your particular project.

3 I just approved my final proofs (or I just paid), what do I do next? When can I schedule my installation?

3 Where can I apply your vinyl decals

Our vinyl decals are intended to go on the sides of your boat, on the inside rails of the boat or on your truck windows. Any smooth hard surface should work. They will not stick to, carpet or other types of flooring as they are not rated for foot traffic.

4 What size should I get?

All of our customers order various sizes depending on their boat or truck and where they want to put them. To make sure your decals fits perfectly, I highly recommend measuring the places you have in mind and then ordering.

 

5 Do you offer “specific brand name”?

If you don’t see it on our website, get permission from that brand then use the custom logo page to upload the logo they give you to place your order.

 

6 Removability?

Yes, they should remove easily by grabbing a corner and gently peeling back. We recommend letting it sit in the sun for a while before removal so the adhesive softens and makes it easier. You can also use a heat gun to heat the decal, but if it's around your boat keep it away from your carpet as it can melt the fibers. There should be little to no residue left behind but if there is, we recommend using a citrus-based adhesive remover (which you can find at any home improvement store). Afterward, rinse with soap and water.
